Learn FERS is built for current and former civilian employees of the United States federal government, and their families. Many federal employees serve at posts around the world; this service is for you wherever you are stationed.

It is intended for United States persons and is governed by United States law. It is not directed to the general public of any other country.

Waitlist signups: when you join the waitlist you give us your name and email, and optionally your agency, your retirement window, a preferred workshop city, and your communication preferences. You choose what optional fields to share.

Calculator inputs: when you use a calculator in the preview, the figures you enter are sent to our server only to compute the result and return it to you. We do not store them. Anything you save into My Plan is kept in your own browser, not on our servers.

Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request information needed to serve the site securely.

To contact you about the launch, your waitlist status, and updates you asked to receive.

To operate, secure, and improve the platform.

We send communications only in line with the preferences you selected, and you can opt out at any time.

We never sell your information. We never share it with financial institutions, advertisers, or data brokers.

We do not earn a commission on any product, so we have no incentive to pass your information to anyone selling one.

Your private planning information is yours. We do not use it to market financial products to you.

We keep waitlist information until the platform opens and you have had the chance to create an account, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We do not keep it indefinitely.

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in the message.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you have given us. Email us and we will confirm and act on the request within 45 days.

We will not deny you any service, or treat you differently, for exercising these choices.

Information is encrypted in transit. Access to stored signup information is limited to the people who operate the platform.

Video on the site loads through a privacy-friendly embed that does not set tracking cookies until you choose to play.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
