Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Learn FERS website and platform. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. Learn FERS is an education platform, not a financial, legal, or tax advisor.

Education, not advice

Everything on Learn FERS is for education. We explain the rules and the math behind federal retirement. We do not recommend a specific product, transaction, or claim age, and we are not licensed to give financial, legal, or tax advice.

We are not a broker-dealer, a registered investment advisor, an insurance agency, or a fiduciary, and we are not your employing agency.

Who this is for, and the law that governs it

Learn FERS is for current and former civilian employees of the United States federal government, and their families, who are subject to the federal retirement system. Many of you serve at posts around the world; this service is for you wherever you are stationed.

It is intended for United States persons and is not directed to the general public of any other country. These terms, and any dispute under them, are governed by the law of the United States and the State in which Intupower is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Estimates and your own decisions

Calculator results are illustrations based on the figures you enter and on published federal rules. They are estimates, not official determinations.

Verify any number against your official personnel records and the relevant federal source before you make a retirement decision. The decisions are yours to make.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means you would like to be notified when membership opens. It does not create a purchase, a subscription, or any obligation, and it does not guarantee a spot, a price, or a launch date.

Acceptable use

Use the site for your own education and planning. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the content, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

Our content

The lessons, tools, and written material on Learn FERS are our intellectual property or used with permission. Federal statutes and public sources we cite remain in the public domain.

Where we feature a third-party product as a teaching example and have a referral relationship with that company, we disclose it plainly in the same place the example appears.

Disclaimers and changes

The site is provided on an as-is basis while we build toward launch. We work to keep federal figures current and sourced, but we do not warrant that every figure is free of error at every moment.

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The binding legal language, including limitation of liability and governing law, is being finalized with counsel.

Questions about these terms can be sent to us by email.
